September 11, 2007:
Went to the doctor today for another sonogram to get one last measure of the heart. Great news is that everything looks great! A little disappointing was the sonogram in general. No fun pictures or looks at the baby really, except for lots of pictures of the heart. It still amazes me everytime we get to hear the heart beat. It was very strong and loud today- about 141 beats per minute. The technician did give us a quick look at the baby’s head and we saw the right arm above the head with its hand next to its ear. Guess we were just lucky to even see what we did considering this sonogram was an “unexpected/unfinished” one from last time. Our doctor said everything is still measuring right on and looks good! What a blessing! The baby has been moving a lot more and can now really be felt from the outside of my belly too. This is such a fun time!
21 weeks and 4 days
The technician could see all four chambers of the heart and could even tell that the baby does not have a cleft lip. . .amazing!
Next doctor’s appointment and last sonogram is scheduled for Tuesday September 11th. Stay tuned for one last set of pics of baby Crane!
